DAV Zonal Sports are regional-level athletic competitions organized by the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi for students of DAV schools. Serving as a qualifying stage for the National-level games, these events promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship across over 30 sporting disciplines. They are held annually to nurture talent and develop athletes for national and international platforms.
DAV NATIONAL SPORTS PARTICIPATION BY DAV International School Ahmedabad
We try to create a welcoming environment where students can nurture their passion for sports and hone their talents, skills, and abilities. Approximately 30 sporting events (combat, timing, and team games) are covered under the DAV Sports spectrum for boys and girls under 14, 17 and 19 categories of public / model/ aided schools, divided into 18 zones/states.
The DAV National Sports, a national-level event, which brought together approximately 20,000 athletes, coaches, and escorts from DAV institutions across 22 states, was conducted, parallelly at many national /international level(s)stadiums in the Delhi NCR region.Proud to share that 169 students from DAV International School, Ahmedabad represented the Maharashtra & Gujarat Zone with outstanding spirit and sportsmanship.Our champions brought home a remarkable 86 medals —🥇 44 Gold | 🥈 26 Silver | 🥉 16 Bronze .Congratulations to all our young achievers for their dedication, hard work, and stellar performances!
