In present-day India, D.A.V. is the only private organization that is managing more than 700 schools, colleges, medical and technical institutions across the nation. At the international front, D.A.V. has established Global Educational Centers in countries like Nepal, Mauritius, Japan, and U.K. & U.S.A, thus becoming an active participant in Global Education.
The prime objective of D.A.V. is to propagate the message of the Vedas and spread knowledge to all sections of the society. The D.A.V. movement, over a period of more than 100 years has made its way into vast regions of the country. During its educational sujourn, DAV students have emerged as leaders in their chosen fields as Nobel laureates, Prime Ministers, Scientists, Sports persons, Defense personnel, Movie Actors, Media persons, CEO’s, making meaningful contributions to the economic and social development of India.
